Pompeii & Ischia

This shot looked better in black and white. So much history here, Pompeii was surprisngly a lot more "modern" feeling than expected.

Even though it's all ruins you can feel how once this place was full of life and bustle.

On to beautiful Ischia, hard to believe this was only Spring!

Sunsets from our hotel room were stunning.

Walking through history in Pompeii and then having a slice of island life in Ischia was invigorating. Beautiful parts of Southern Italy, in the warm and not too hot month of April. Great times.
