Bulgarian Adventures

Strolling around Sofia, taking in the sights it had to offer.

Lots of cool artwork around the city, it was a surprisingly peaceful city center with lots to discover.

Walking down the famous Womens Market in Sofia, there was a lot of produce readily available at very reasonable prices. Full of life, it was fun to walk around see people about their everyday lives.

From Sofia to Shumen, I got to experience the other side of the country and a place probably not on the beaten path in Bulgaria. A famous Shumen landmark can be spotted in this photo.

Lots of stray cats while walking around, they were friendly enough!

Managed to capture this guy wondering around.

A short walk away, we could get fresh milk to make yoghurt. Felt like I'd walked into a rural setting although it was so close.

Caught some beautiful views and the penultimate rays of evening sun hiking.

Back to Sofia for these last couple of photos, I had no idea how beautiful and accessible the scenery was from the city. Bulgaria was a beautiful surprise, I feel grateful to have had the chance to see and experience her.
