Lots of cool artwork around the city, it was a surprisingly peaceful city center with lots to discover.
Walking down the famous Womens Market in Sofia, there was a lot of produce readily available at very reasonable prices. Full of life, it was fun to walk around see people about their everyday lives.
From Sofia to Shumen, I got to experience the other side of the country and a place probably not on the beaten path in Bulgaria. A famous Shumen landmark can be spotted in this photo.
A short walk away, we could get fresh milk to make yoghurt. Felt like I'd walked into a rural setting although it was so close.
