La bella Sorrento

First time coming to Sorrento, a short weekend away experiencing the coast and the first ever Sorrento Digital Arts (SODA) festival .

Beautiful colours and shops, lots of yellow everywhere. I wanted to buy some tiles and plates but had no way to bring them with me.

Strolling around I was surprised how lush Sorrento was, not sure what I had expected to be quite honest.

The light was beautiful here against the door, perfect dappled light coming between the trees. Lucky me!

I had not seen Vesuvius from this angle before, the sun had retreated a little by this point and the wind was picking up.

I'm not sure I'll ever get tired of exploring Italian streets and alleyways. Feels like there's always something around every corner.

Sorrento was beautiful, as was the festival over the weekend. Already looking forward to next year, and perhaps I'll explore more of the surrounding area. I only had time for a brief walkabout, but it left me wanting to explore more of the coast in the future. Until next year!
